the9 is a chinese girl group consisting of nine members. they were formed via the survival show youth with you 2 aka qing chun you ni 2.

the survival program premiered on march 12 2020 and the final lineup was announced on may 30 2020. only nine out of 109 trainees were able to debut and they were selected based on viewers' votes.
